Divinity Original Sin 2 Mod

07.09.2019

Divinity can be a tough game, so with that in mind, we put together a list of characters and classes that are so strong, it will make any enemy a joke. Keep in mind that every character can't be. I have copied the mods from the Steam Steamapps workshop content 435150 folder to the Documents Larian Studios Divinity Original Sin 2 Mods as advised on many sites. They all appear in the Mods option in the Main Menu. All enabled and confirmed but do not exist in game or in GM mode, please advise as this is very frustrating!

Modders surprise the community again by adding a new campaign complete with a completely different playstyle in Divinity Original Sin 2.

Original

Divinity Original Sin 2 greatly expands upon the original’s feeling of freedom by allowing a vast amount of options in gameplay. It can be played single-player, or multiplayer, and it even features a very intuitive build-your-own campaign mode where one player acts as a dungeon master of sorts while leading the rest of the party.

Larian studios also released Divinity Original Sin 2 with modding tools, which fans have definitely taken advantage of with a new mod called Into the Abyss. According to its ModDB page, the project introduces a brand new campaign set in a different land than the packaged campaign. Extensive mods like this, while very impressive, are nothing new, especially when looking at games like Skyrim. But Into the Abyss also features new gameplay mechanics, in that it changes Divinity Original Sin 2 from a turn-based tactics game into a real-time strategy game where players can lead their faction against others.

The description of the mods reads:

“Divinity: Into The Abyss s a new campaign for Divinity: Original Sin 2, it will take the player to a whole new land, add some new systems to the game, improved and customized AI and above all a new R.T.S.(Real Time Strategy) mode where the player gets to create a faction and lead it across the new and some old maps.

The new world and the events bound to happen there interact and are based upon the events of D:OS2 and the player choices, as the campaign unfolds you will get to decide the fate of Rivellon as Damian, the dark one returns and lays war upon the realm. Download aplikasi pes 2019 pc.

Concurrently a new terror seems to approach from the great beyond, a terror so colossal, even The God King and the Divine tremble with its approach, will this be the age of dead gods, will new gods arise? Find out for yourself …”

Not only is this a new unofficial campaign, but it uses Larion’s campaign and player choices made in it to continue the story in a new direction. Most story mods are completely detached from a game’s main tale, so this new addition could be quite interesting.

The features in Into the Abyss are as follows:

  • New world with 70km²
  • R.T.S. system
  • Building and Crafting systems
  • Manage your own faction
  • Unique companions
  • Large-scale battles
  • Vehicles
  • An epic main Storyline with hundreds of side quests
  • A family system
  • Raise a pet
  • Deep choices that affect the world as it develops

The release date of this mod has yet to be announced, but the alpha should be coming very soon, according to the mod’s page, stating much of the background work has been completed. Dinivity Original Sin 2 has been very successful, selling a million copies by November after being released in September.

Tidy Skillbars

This simple QoL mod does wonders for keeping your skill bar nice and organized. By default any new items and objects you pick up get placed in your skill bar. This mod simply stops that from happening. No more need to constantly sort your skill bar and move/remove items!

Timed Autosaves

This mod makes some helpful improvements to the autosave feature. It is configurable to 5, 10, or 20 minute intervals, and takes precaution against accidentally saving in a bad situation by not allowing autosaves during combat.

Crafting Overhaul

Where to even begin with this one? This mod should really be called 'Crafting Expansion'. The ability to turn glass junk into potion bottles, break down unwanted clothing and armor into scrap pieces (which can then be used to improve other armors), and the ability to build crafting stations on-the-go are just a few examples of the many additions this mod brings to the game.

Expanded Party Size

As you may have assumed by the title, this mod allows more party members. There is also an optional file to increase difficulty if you feel that having additional party members would make the game too easy.

Combat Sneak

This mod simply reduces the AP cost of sneaking in combat from 4 to 2, making stealth a much more viable approach to combat. If you're the stealthy type and found sneaking in combat to be lacking, this mod should fix that right up.

Enemy Randomization

This mod gives baddies a randomly generated permanent buff at the start of combat. The real risk/reward comes from the 15% chance to transform an enemy into a 'champion', which gives them several skills and buffs. This stat boost is accompanied by better loot drops though, so it's not all weighted against you.

More Monster Spawns

If you're looking to increase the difficulty of D:OS2 without increasing enemy stats, this is a good option. It greatly increases the number of enemy spawns across every area in the game. Similar to the last mod there is a risk/reward to using this mod. More baddies means harder combat, but more loot!

No Psychic Enemies

You're an undead, covered in armor from head to toe. Just how do the bad guys know that healing spells will hurt you? This mod nerfs the 'Loremaster' skill on enemies, preventing them from inexplicably knowing what your resistances are. Perfect for the undead, great for everyone.

Improved Camera

With this mod installed you can increase the maximum zoom out distance and apply vertical tilt while the middle mouse button is pressed. This gives the camera control a feeling more akin to classic 3rd person camera controls and allows you to see more of what's around you!

Fast Run Speed

If you find the default movement speed too slow, this is the mod you are looking for. It comes in two flavors. The first increases movement speed by 30% and the second doubles movement speed.
