What is a 'Duel Assessment'?

An essential part of Duel Link's PvE is the cards and keys dropped by Legendary and Standard duelists alike. The number of rewards received is directly influenced by your Duel Assessment score at a rate of 1000 points per reward, up to a maximum to 8 rewards.

Duel Links v3.8.0 Mod Apk Take on global Duelists in real-time and while on the go with “Yu-Gi-Oh! – Star-studded lineup includes: Yugi, Kaiba, Joey, Mai and more! – Voices from the anime heighten the Dueling experience!

Thus, when facing Legendary Duelists with limited keys or infrequent spawns, it's in our best interest to max out the number of rewards per successful duel.

In addition to winning the duel, there are a number of conditions to be met in order to obtain bonus points, ranging from winning via deck out, dealing over 9999 damage in a single attack, or performing a Fusion Summon.

Note:

Bonuses will not stack, ex. Over 3000, 5000, 9999 Damage will only grant the highest bonus.

The two exceptions are playing Glossy or Prismatic cards, which will grant 100 and 200 points, respectively, per applicable card.

These points are awarded based on who won. You will always get exactly one of these per duel.

Mythical Beast Cerberus - 6000+

These decks use Cerberus in combination with a plethora of Spells, boosting it's attack to very high levels. Riryoku is used to transfer ATK stats from one Cerberus to another to reach over 9999 ATK.

Useful Skills include Draw Sense: Light (optimal) or Draw Sense: Low Level/Sorcery Conduit (slightly harder to activate)

In order to conserve Spell Counters, you do not attack at all until the very last turn, using cards like Big Bang Shot or Shooting Star Bow - Ceal to circumvent your opponent's frontline.

Additional Spells may be used to control one's own LP, aiming for <1000 or optimally <100 for extra points. Cerberus normally gets around 6000-7000 points without extra points, so aiming for exactly 100 LP remaining and using glossies may be necessary to get 8000 points.

Piranha Army - 7000+

Utilizes the doubling effect of Piranha to minimize the amount of work needed to achieve Over 9999 Damage!

High ATK monsters such as Master of Oz or BEWD are commonly used in tandem with Gift of the Martyr, granting Piranha Army 5000+ ATK which doubles to 10,000 when it attacks. Riryoku is also a supplement to first siphon ATK from a monster before sacrificing it with Gift.

Attacking directly is achieved via Secret Pass to the Treasures. Piranha Army is generally inferior to Gravekeeper's Vassal, use that instead if possible.

Gravekeeper's Vassal & Union Attack - 8000+

By far the easiest way to obtain both Victory By Effect Damage Only and Over 9999 Damage!, already a base total of 6000 when adding 2000 from a regular victory.

This is achieved using Vassal's conversion any damage dealt into Effect Damage. On it's own, Union Attack is a very efficient method of boosting a single monster's ATK, but cannot inflict fatal damage. The two combine to boost Vassal's ATK over 9999, usually with the help of a high ATK monster and a weaker one such as Unhappy Girl.

Common methods include using BEUD (via Temple of Kings or Summoner of Illusions), Labyrinth Wall with Sword and Shield, or Gate Guardian. Normally, Union Attack decks use 2 copies, so with Vassal, your other monsters require a total of 4650 ATK in order to deal 9999 damage.

Element's Unite - 8000+

Element's Unite is by far the easiest and most consistent farm deck when it works. It is based on the Paradox Brothers' skill Elements Unite, which reduces your life points to 500 and places Gate Guardian on the field, guaranteeing yourself Low LP bonus and a 3750 ATK monster. This makes it very easy to incorporate Gravekeeper's Vassal & Union Attack, for an easy 8000 points.

Gate Guardian is only 3750 ATK, so to reach 9999 damage, you need either 3 Union Attacks or a Caligo Claw Crow.

If your opponent cannot deal with Gate Guardian, Element's Unite is 100% consistent, but loses very quickly to any deck that can remove it.

Winged Dragon of Ra - 8000+

While this farm requires an event card to work, it gives a massive amount of points. Summoning Winged Dragon of Ra alone grants 1000 points from summoning a Divine-type monster and activating his effect puts you at 100 LP, granting 1000 points from LP on the Brink. With a win, 9999 damage, Cards on the Brink, and 2000 points from the bonuses, that's 7500 points. With a few glossies and prismatic points from Ra, this deck almost guarantees 8000+ points.

In order to give Winged Dragon of Ra 10000+ ATK, the general strategy is to use healing cards such as Golden Ladybugs or Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird while stalling out your opponent. Efficient heal decks are extremely consistent and tend to end the duel with 15000+ life points and Cosmic Compass to easily summon Winged Dragon of Ra.

Cards such as Stop Defense or Shooting Star Bow are not necessary, normally the AI will summon monsters in ATK mode and Ra will have enough ATK to deal 9999 damage by attacking a monster.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links is an Android, iOS and PC game. Its name is likely taken from the Duel Links system featured in 'TRANSCEND GAME' and Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions.

The game was first announced at Jump Festa 2016. On January 6, 2016, it was officially announced that the game would be released globally, along with the news that Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Generation and Yu-Gi-Oh! Legacy of the Duelist would both receive further updates in winter 2016.[6]

On March 18, 2016, the Japanese site was updated with more information about its gameplay, characters, and online content, as well as the first YouTube trailer for the game. Pre-registration for the game is currently open in Japan, with rewards available for accounts pre-registered before the game launch. The rewards are accumulative based on the total number of existing pre-registered accounts when the game launches: 50 gems (10,000), 'Dark Magician' card protectors (30,000), an additional 50 gems (50,000), a Yugi Muto-themed Duel Field (100,000), and an additional 50 gems (150,000). Additional rewards were added on March 29, 2016, after the number of pre-registered accounts exceeded 200,000: 'Blue-Eyes White Dragon' card protectors (200,000), an additional 100 gems (250,000), and a Seto Kaiba-themed Duel Field (300,000).[7]

On April 19, 2016, the official site announced that in order to further improve the game quality, the game would go into a closed beta testing phase in June. Beta testers are picked randomly among the players who pre-registered the game before April 30, 2016. As a result, the public release date of the game will be postponed to a later date rather than April 2016 as initially planned. Players also receive more rewards at the start of the game which details will be disclosed in further announcements.[7]

Pre-registration emails and surveys were sent out on June 13, 2016 for people in the United States and United Kingdom. On June 23, 2016, the sign-up period was extended.[1] In late July, e-mails were sent to accepted applicants notifying them of their accepted participation in the Closed Beta Test, as well as informing them that the game would be 'polished' for another one to two months before the Closed Beta Test would start. On September 1, 2016, applications for the closed beta closed. The Closed Beta Test started on September 7, 2016, and subsequently closed on September 27, 2016, after maintenance was conducted that day from 1:00 AM - 3:00 AM (EST). It was released worldwide in January 2017.

Gameplay[edit]

Duel World[edit]

Main article: Duel World (Duel Links)

Duel World is the hub area where the player can select and challenge NPCs to Duels. The player's character earns experience to increase their Level by Dueling.

The player has a Stage in each different Duel World, which can be increased by completing missions. Increasing the Stage causes new Legendary Duelists and features to be unlocked.

PvP[edit]

It allows real time duels with other Duelists or friends around the world in Duel Links. Furthermore, there are practice plays, Decks from Duelists played against, and replays from other Duelists can be watched.

A PvP Ranked Season lasts for 1 month, which players Duel each other for the Rank 'King of Games' and rewards such as Gems and Tickets. After a season ends all players drop 1 tier, even if they’d did not participate in that season.

Events[edit]

Duel Links has several timed events, some of which allow players can Duel under special rules or against Event Duelists to obtain Gold, Gems, cards, and other rewards. Events come in either a PvE and PvP format, with PvE events being the most common.

Duel Links also has sales and other promotions often in celebration of new features or events.

Rules[edit]

  • The Speed Duel format is used.
    • Each player only has three Monster Zones and three Spell & Trap Zones, rather than five of each.
    • Each player must have 20-30 cards in their Main Deck (instead of 40-60) and 0-5 cards in the Extra Deck (instead of 0-15).
    • Each player starts with 4000 LP, rather than 8000 LP.
    • Each player starts with four cards in their hand, rather than five.
    • There is no Main Phase 2. The End Phase takes place right after the Battle Phase.
  • Each player can have one Skill. The available Skills vary between characters. Depending on the Skill, it may be always activated at the start of the Duel (e.g. starting with 'Yami' on the field), optionally activated when a player meets certain conditions (e.g. ensuring the next drawn card is a Spell or Trap Card after the player's Life Points have dropped by 1800), or always activated when a condition is met (e.g. inflicting damage when the player activates a Trap Card).
  • Extra Monster Zones are not used, with Extra Deck monsters functioning as they did before the introduction of the Extra Monster Zone.
