1. Sonic Generations Unleashed Renderer

Thanks to the work of Korama, tech member over at Sonic Retro, and some additional help on finding the old shader files from Lobotomy, a new renderer is discovered, totally unused on the retail version of the game! It's still a bit too broken to be used, but it can do effects like directional shadows, better color correction, higher quality motion blur, working ice shaders, and even godrays!

Mar 21, 2013  Sonic Generations - Unleashed Project mod released (Unleashed stages in Generations). It's freaking beautiful Not to mention the music and the fact that you managed to even recover the Unleashed Renderer it was a joy from start to finish even though Jungle. This project is obviously still trying to coax Sonic Generations to play Sonic. Sorry to bump this topic after a couple months of inactivity, but I released a mod for the Unleashed Project that tries to scale the S-Rank scoring system to be more in line with the way it was in the original Sonic Unleashed game. This unofficial project ports most of Sonic Unleashed's daytime levels from the Xbox 360 version into Sonic Generations on PC. It also includes any improvements that are deemed as necessary to accomodate to the better control scheme, higher resolution graphics, and much smoother framerate.

Skip to about 1 minute into the video to see Cool Edge with this new renderer. Notice the dark shadows are just a bug with the renderer, and hopefully it can be fixed.

The use of this renderer won't be mandatory for the mod users, but it's still a possibility worth looking at. Be sure to check out the channels of the modders who made this possible as well!

SonicGMI is a tool written by Dario ff that eable installation and running the mods for the game Sonic Generations. The Program has a simple interface that allows you to easily decide what modifications have to be run, and what have the remain dormant.

To install the application you just need to copy it to the game directory, and then run the file 'SonicGMI .exe'.

All modifications you must then copy the directory 'mods' and then when you start SonicGM select it in the menu.
